The Yale Center for Natural Carbon Capture (YCNCC) held its Fall 2025 Research Showcase on Friday, October 10th, at Kroon Hall. The event featured 27 lightning talks, each six minutes long, highlighting the breadth and depth of research across the Center’s three core areas: Ecosystem CaptureGeological & Ocean Capture, and Industrial Carbon Utilization.

The showcase provided an engaging overview of current projects and emerging ideas from researchers across Yale. The presentations demonstrated the creativity and rigor driving the Center’s mission to advance innovative solutions for climate mitigation.

  • Kelby Anderson - Best Talk (Undergraduate, Graduate, and Postgraduate Researchers)
  • Tim Jesper Suhrhoff - Best Talk (Postdoctoral Researchers and Research Scientists)
