I am an organometallic chemist interested in developing efficient strategies for carbon capture and utilization, with the goal of converting CO₂ into valuable chemical fuels such as formic acid and methanol. During my Ph.D., I designed metal-based catalysts and investigated their applications in CO2 reduction chemistry, employing biomass-derived alcohols as reductants. My current research focuses on addressing the challenges of harnessing sunlight in combination with electrical energy to convert CO₂ into liquid fuels, using silicon-based photoelectrodes functionalized with metal catalyst.
