Yiming Guo

I am a physical oceanographer interested in the role of the oceans in climate and climate change. I concentrate primarily on eddy-mean flow interactions and how ocean mesoscale eddies contribute to global heat transport and energy budget. As a postdoc researcher at YCNCC, I will investigate ocean carbon transport, carbon dioxide flux at air-sea interface and influence of ocean mixing on the dispersion and distribution of rock dust by using high resolution climate modeling, remote sensing, and numerical simulations.
