Katherine Gaynor

Kat joined the Center in September 2021, shortly after its announcement in May 2021. With a passion for sustainability and a background in administrative support, Kat has been an integral part of the center’s growth and success. She was awarded a Certificate of Outstanding Recognition for her contributions to advancing sustainability at Yale in 2024.

In her role, Kat has spearheaded the first faculty search, assists in administrative tasks along with the Center’s workshop and postdoctoral programs. Organizes various events, including the annual spring symposium. Prior to joining YCNCC, Kat gained experience working with Yale Press and in the Dean’s Office and Clinical Support Unit at the Yale School of Nursing.
