Jiankang Yang

I am a Postdoc at the YCNCC, working with Prof. Mary-Louise Timmerman. I will be employing theory, laboratory experiments and numerical modeling to analyze how ocean-based carbon removal is influenced by ocean turbulence and stratification. Prior to starting my Postdoc, I earned a PhD degree in Environmental Fluid Mechanics from University of British Columbia, Canada, and a master degree in Hydraulic Engineering from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
