Yale recognizes YCNCC Staff member at the 2024 Sustainability Awards

Kat Gaynor, Senior Administrative Assistant at the Yale Center for Natural Carbon Capture, received a “Certificate of Outstanding Recognition” in appreciation of her notable contributions to sustainability at Yale University; more specifically around her efforts in helping to establish and grow the YCNCC for the past two plus years all while keeping sustainable practices at the forefront . Kat has played an essential role and consistently goes above and beyond her job description to make sure that the Center is successful. The Yale Office of Sustainability honored Kat’s accomplishments at their annual State of Sustainability & Awards Ceremony on Tuesday, April 9th, 2024. Accompanied by her nominators,  YCNCC co-directors Liza Comita and David Bercovici, the award focused on Kat’s implementation of sustainable practices while supporting the Center.
