The Yale Center for Natural Carbon Capture Four New Faculty Members

Four new faculty members joining the Yale Center for Natural Carbon Capture in 2023 - Paulo Brando, Matthew Eisaman, Sparkle Malone, and Eric Slessarev. The new faculty members are housed at the Yale School of the Environment, the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, and the Department ofEarth and Planetary Sciences. Their labs will focus on natural carbon capture processes that occur in the planet’s oceans, coastal ecosystems, tropical forests, soils, and how these processes might help humanity reduce global carbon emissions.
