YCNCC 2025 Spring Symposium & Yale Climate Day: An Impactful Convening on AI for Natural Climate Solutions
The 2025 YCNCC Spring Symposium and Yale Climate Day brought together a vibrant community of researchers, students, and thought leaders for a day-and-a-half of insightful discussion centered on the timely theme of AI for Natural Climate Solutions.
The program featured 15-minute talks from 16 distinguished speakers representing a wide range of disciplines, institutions, and perspectives—from academia and beyond. In addition to the talks, the event included a dynamic fireside chat and two engaging panel discussions, fostering dialogue around the role of artificial intelligence in addressing climate challenges.
We are deeply grateful for the energy, expertise, and curiosity everyone involved with the event brought to the symposium. A big thank you to our speakers, attendees, and organizers for making this an inspiring and innovative event. Thank you as well to Eric Sargis and the Yale Institute for Biospheric Studies (YIBS) team for their partnership to make the Symposium – in conjunction with Yale Climate Day – happen. We look forward to continuing these important conversations in the months ahead.
