Please join us in welcoming the 2nd new faculty member, Dr. Paulo Brando to the Yale Center for Natural Carbon Capture! Dr. Brando joins the Yale Center for Natural Carbon Capture as an assistant professor housed at the Yale School of the Environment. Paulo’s research explores the causes of deforestation and forest degradation in the Amazon and the associated consequences to climate, ecological stability, and the potential future pathways of forests and the associated consequences to climate, ecological stability, and the potential future pathways of forests.
