Julie Zimmerman Elected to the National Academy of Engineering
Julie Zimmerman, Yale’s Vice Provost for Planetary Solutions and a jointly appointed professor at Yale’s School of Engineering & Applied Science and School of the Environment has been elected to the National Academy of Engineering (NAE). A member of the Yale Center for Natural Carbon Capture’s Scientific Leadership Team, Julie was recognized for her leadership in engineering education and the development of green technologies that enhance the sustainability of engineered systems.
Election to the NAE is one of the highest professional honors in engineering, awarded to individuals who have made outstanding contributions to research and practice. This recognition is a testament to Julie’s extraordinary work in advancing sustainable engineering solutions.
