SEAS Assistant Professor Lea Winter Receives 2025 Connecticut Women of Innovation Award

YCNCC Scientific Leadership Team member and Yale School of Engineering & Applied Science Assistant Professor Lea Winter has been named a 2025 Women of Innovation by the Connecticut Technology Council (CTC).
This award recognizes Professor Winter’s achievements in Research Innovation and Leadership, both her pioneering work at the intersection of sustainability, materials science, and energy innovation, and her contributions to Connecticut’s technology ecosystem.
The CTC celebrated Winter, along with 11 other award members and 45 finalists, at its 20th annual Women of Innovation awards ceremony on October 28, 2025, in Bristol, CT.
